MALHAR SALIL

Malhar Salil makes films, teaches visual design, and thinks in images. Trained at the National Institute of Design, he has spent fifteen years building a practice from the inside out - as assistant director on featurefilms, post-production supervisor on broadcast, editor on streaming series, and finally as a director finding hisown voice. His short film Out of Context is currently travelling festivals. He is drawn to stories that live at the edges of genre.
